LONDON, UK and CHICAGO, IL - December17, 2012: Proxima is pleased to announce that John Mathew has joined our North American operations as Client Services Leader. The appointment reflects Proxima’s continued expansion efforts into the U.S. market.

From Proxima’s Chicago office, John will be responsible for building on the growing roster of North American clients within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Media and Entertainment, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Healthcare sectors.

John’s appointment to our senior team amplifies Proxima’s international expansion plans, a key focus being the continued drive into American markets,” said Matthew Eatough, CEO of Proxima. “As a leading managed procurement services provider, we look for the most talented and experienced professionals and warmly welcome John, whom we believe is a perfect fit.”  

John comes to Proxima from Hewlett-Packard where, as principal in the Enterprise Service group, he focused on delivery of finance, accounting and outsourcing services to large media companies such as AOL and Time Warner.  Prior to that, he led Ernst & Young’s Entertainment and Media Business Development function in New York where he was responsible for account planning and growing the company’s footprint, delivering advisory solutions for Fortune 100 content and distribution companies.
